Allen Iverson Gets Offered A SOCCER CONTRACT?!

NBA Legend, Allen Iverson, has been offered to play SOCCER for the Rochester Lancers. The Rochester Lancers is a team in the Major Indoor Soccer League and are willing to pay A.I. $20,000 dollars a game, an extra $5,000 for every goal he scores and of course merchandise bonuses. This is said to be a publicity stunt, and I agree. There is nothing on Iverson playing soccer, he was mostly known for his stand out football career (other than Basketball obviously).

“Allen Iverson is one of the premier athletes of our time… With his athleticism and competitive hunger, I think he can be a great fit with our team and fans as we make an important playoff push” says the teams vice president Richard Randall. Rochester has only 2 remaining games set for the regular season, so Iverson could potentially make $40,000 plus if he has some skills. So apparently, Jeremy Lin, has brought the New York Knicks (and pretty much all of New York for that matters) television network MSG (Madison Square Garden) a 7% stock increase, which translates to $170 Million dollars… Jeremy Lin has signed his $800,000 contract for this year and his now, best selling jersey, is also not putting any money in his pocket. You can just expect Jeremy Lin to receive a crazy pay day soon!
